Lake Tahoe

We are in Seattle right now so we have wifi to catch ya up on everything again. So here is our quick trip to Tahoe recounted.
We regrouped in Tahoe at a free hotel we won from a seminar we went to in Phoenix. It was a bit too cold or more like really windy there to do much there. We biked a bit around the lake but mostly we enjoyed the scenic drive around the lake. California has been in a serious drought and Tahoe has definitely suffered a big hit from that too. The water level was a lot lower but the colors we still incredible. This fun fact about it might not be true now but still pretty incredible to think about- "Lake Tahoe contains more than 37 trillion gallons of water- enough to cover a flat area the size of California to a depth of fourteen inches."
Another west coast chain we discovered and loved was Baja fresh

All fresh and clean at the laundromat

On our way to Tahoe

It was sunny but oh so cold! This is overlooking Emerald Bay

We loved the scenic drive around this lake and going on back roads to look at all the fancy lake houses
