Around the Bay

We had the chance to visit my friend Krystal from nursing school at BYU. We explored the Bay area and saw lots of fun sites and beautiful sea towns.  This trip included great food, scenery, and mostly the company!
At lover's point
Victorville is a huge producer of artichokes, who knew?

Krystal treated us to fried artichokes

By the natural state bridge in Santa Cruz

On the boardwalk, we did have a lot of fun.

Matt tried to climb on this rock it didn't go as well as hoped for him. Pretty soaked afterwards

Making the mad dash back to shore.
Top Tips:
1.California weather is unpredictable, make sure to check the forecast and bring a jacket... and maybe a suit so you don't get wet like Matt.
2. Definitely get ice cream at Marianne's in Santa Cruz
3. Best Clam chowder in Monterrey - Fisherman's Grotto
